February 9, 2006 Two-time national championship football coach Pete Carroll of the University of Southern California paused from coordinating one of the top recruiting classes in the nation to help sack breast cancer. Carroll, who is 37-2 in his last three seasons, is widely regarded not only as one of the best coaches in America but also one of the most philanthropic. Coach Carroll has founded his own website, www. petecarroll.com, to raise funds for his favorite charities. While completing his shirt, Carroll said “I would do anything if it meant curing someone."
