A letter from founders Willie Ebersol and Elex Michaelson
Hello and welcome to Get Hands On!

As Phi Kappa Psi fraternity brothers and classmates at the University of Southern California, we founded the
Get Hands On campaign to increase breast cancer education.

By simply spreading information, we know we can save countless lives. One million women are diagnosed
with breast cancer worldwide every year, yet the disease has a 98% survival rate in the first stage. At the same
time, 90% of all breast lumps are discovered by women themselves.

Many Americans know about breast cancer, but not nearly enough know how to look for it. By enlisting
celebrities to create our trademark pink handprint t-shirts, we hope to raise not only public awareness, but
also breast cancer consciousness, so preventing the disease becomes an active part of everyday life. We
also hope to show how breast cancer is not only a woman’s disease, and educate men about ways to
proactively improve their health.

But not everyone can be cured by early detection alone, which is why we are teaming up with the
Entertainment Industry Foundation to support Revlon/UCLA Womens’ Cancer Research Program, which will
receive 100% of the net proceeds from this campaign. The Revlon/UCLA Womens’ Cancer Research
Program, founded by Lilly Tartikoff and Ronal O. Perelman, has consistently worked towards the control and
ultimate elimination of breast and ovarian cancer.  We hope that our partnership with these esteemed breast
cancer organizations will help bring a greater awareness about the disease and work towards curing breast
cancer for good.

Join us and
Get Hands On today!

                                                                                                       Sincerely,
                                                                      Willie Ebersol & Elex Michaelson
