Skating Icon Gives Handprints to Campaign
March 20, 2006
Skateboard legend Tony Hawk joined the Get Hands On Campaign. Hawk, who
became the number one skater in the world at age 16, has enjoyed a 17-year career of
professional skating success. A self-described technology nut, he also helped create
one of the biggest selling video games of all time, "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater." Besides
becoming apart of Get Hangs On's breast cancer awareness campaign, Hawk also
actively pursues creating skate-parks in low income areas with his own charity, the
Tony Hawk Foundation.
