"Hardball" Host Shows Softer Side for Breast Cancer Awareness

Chris Matthews, the host of "Hardball" on MSNBC weekdays, joined the Get Hands On
campaign during his visit to the University of Southern California campus, which
included a live episode of his show. Matthews hosts the syndicated "The Chris
Matthews" every weekend. Before his TV work, he was served as Washington Bureau
chief for the San Francisco Chronicle for 13 years, as the top aide to then-Speaker of
the House "Tip" O'Neill and as a presidential speech-writer for Jimmy Carter. Matthews'
1988 book "Hardball" is now used in many high-level political science classrooms
around the country. He is the recipient of 14 honorary Ph.Ds.
